City Boys Rugby Challenge
5-6 January 2008, Kuala Lumpur

The inaugural rugby 7”s held at Padang Merbok, KL with 2 Categories. Opened to Malaysian citizen only.

ANSARA 10’S Rugby Tournament
12-13 January 2008, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Organized by the MRSM Alumni Association (ANSARA) for the fourth time. This 3-category tournament is specifically for non-state/ national representatives.

MASUM Inter-Varsities 7’s Rugby Tournament
3-5 February 2008, Kuala Terengganu

The annual inter-universities sevens tournament attracts 32 teams from various public and private universities in Malaysia. Hosted by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), it will be held over 3 days in a carnival atmosphere.

Kolej 12 UPM Touch Footie Carnival
1 March 2008, Serdang Selangor

For the 3rd year running this Touch Rugby Carnival organized by the 12th Residential College. A recreational one day event, this carnival will have 5 categories: - Veteran, Ladies, Men, Mixed Team and Junior (U-18). Touch Footie is a fun alternative to mainstream rugby and attracts players of all ages and sex.

Universiti Malaysia Sabah Rugby 10’s
22-23 March, 2008 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

This inaugural rugby 10’s will be held at the UMS Stadium with three categories- draws team from Sarawak, Sabah, Federal Territory Labuan, Negara Brunei Darussalam and Philippines.

Inter MRSM Rugby 10’s
18-21 April 2008, Muar Johor

This annual inter Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) rugby tournament is held for the fifth year. Rugby is now one of the premier sports in all MRSM.

Inter Polytechnics Rugby Tournament
6-9 April 2008, Shah Alam, Selangor

Polytechnic Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam will host the 2nd Inter-Polytechnic Rugby 10’s. A total of 19 teams will participate in this event

Masum 10’s Rugby Tournament
24-26 May 2008, Kota Kinabalu Sabah

The inaugural MASUM 10’s will be held at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah Campus for the first time. A total of 24 team are expected to battle it out in the ‘’Land Below the Wind’’.

MSSM U12 and U18 Rugby Tournament
25-30 May 2008, Kota Bharu Kelantan

The annual Malaysia Schools Sports Council inter-state U12 and U18 rugby tournament will be held in the East Coast state of Kelantan. A total of 30 teams will compete in this full format competition over 5 days.
